For the first time, two cities were chosen to host the World Design Capital: San Diego and Tijuana. Two cities from different countries, divided by a wall, stand together to showcase what our region offers. San Diego and Tijuana have the honor of being the venue for World Design Capital 2024. The Binational Race is proud to be part of this groundbreaking event.
World Design Capital 2024 is an opportunity to celebrate, connect, and empower our cross-border communities, as well as collaborate on addressing some of the most pressing issues in the San Diego Tijuana region through design.
